Research

You may see our latest research related works here.

Our methodology is :

  1. Quantitative analysis through lung models
  2. Computational simulations
  3. Imaging data correlating to inflammation, disease and aging.

Current Project :

We developed multi-scale model for cellular inflammation for compliant lung geometry under mechanical ventilation by investigating respiratory mechanics at the organ, tissue and cellular levels.

We are working on developing information tools including

  1. Cluster analysis
  2. Image analysis
  3. Computational simulations
  4. Artificial intelligence
  5. Machine learning
  6. Quantum graph models
  7. Variants and applications of particle swarm optimization.

Our research also focuses on developing novel machine learning algorithms in predicting mechanical ventilation parameter settings for Canines and Felines,in assisting the doctors for a given patient condition. Modeling and Simulation of Traumatic Brain Injury from MRI images, risk analysis, and risk prediction is another ongoing research in the lab. We are also developing novel swarm intelligence based algorithms applied in optimization and self-assembly.
